London is a really cosmopolitan city and you'll find people from every corner of the globe living there. What you make of it is really up to you. Personally, I've never heard of people singling out Mexicans - I used to have the mickey taken out of me because I'm a Scot but that's just the British sense of humour! Go with the flow and take advantage of the experience while you're young.
