It really depends on the individual. The glasses should not be worn for extended periods of time and If you experience discomfort wearing them then I guess 3D movies are not for you (at least yet).
I am not sure if you all felt this or not but some people viewing the movie Avatar have complained about headaches, nausea and disorientation. According to an eye doctor quoted in the article, any one who has problems with their stereoscopic vision may feel these effects from watching 3D movies, especially ones as long as avatar.
Has anyone here felt any physical discomfort from watching Avatar?
I later found this I am attaching the pic as well.

The trick to avoiding the headache? Ignore your experience with 2D movies and stay riveted to the in-focus action. When watching a 3D movie, whatever is right in front of you and in-focus is what you want to be paying attention to—focusing on the background details for too long triggers headaches and disorientation.
I wish i had seen this before.

Hello there!
It really depends on the individual. The glasses should not be worn for extended periods of time and If you experience discomfort wearing them then I guess 3D movies are not for you (at least yet).
If you ask me about it, then definitely no. There is just no reason which I see which go against the 3d movie. but lets see how others respond to it.
They are certainly not. I just can't believe me that these movies can ever cause some harm to any person. Lets see how others see to this matter.
If, they are (lets take it), then there are options available using which we can negotiate the dangers. hence one must try to look at them and then take the decision.
I personally dont think there is any health effects to wearing 3D glass's but it depends , if your constantly wearing them in your everyday life, you will probably get some affects after a while , but for watching a 3hour film ? nah i dont think so.
Ofcourse Not ! 3d glasses doesn't do any harm to our eyes or something. Lets say, you are going to see your first 3d film and after the film finished and you saw wearing your 3d glasses you might be able to feel a slight headache and its not for all. But if you are used to it then no problem at all and also it doesn't have any side effects and all.
If you wear them for too long then they can hurt your eyes and cause headaches but that is the extent of negative health effects!
Ridiculous, can't affect your health at all as long as they don't use poisonous chemicals that cause people to go blind haha
I think person who uses contact lenses instead of glasses and watches 3d movies then it will certainly cause problems such as headache.i am victim of it.i don't think 3d glasses can cause any other problem apart from this one.
