    DreamWorks Animation

DreamWorks Animation’s Jeffrey Katzenberg expects there to be 12 to 18 3D feature films by this 2010. 3-D is clearly the future of cinema, at least for the near future. With the recent announcements of Tim Burton’s Alice and Wonderland/Frankenweenie, and announcement of Final Destination 4 in 3D, they’ve decided to compile a schedule for the upcoming 3D movie releases. Its going to be lot of fun.

This news really fulfills many 3d movie lovers who are here because 12-18 movie is really a massive increase in the number 3d of movies that are released per year. Willing to see 30 next year. :P

I think this year will mark a noticeable increase in everything 3D, from movies, to gaming to home entertainment. We will not remove 2D altogether but for many adventure, sci-fi, thriller and action films (and games) 3D might become the standard in the future.
