We have a new 2011 Samsung TV and a Samsung blu-ray 3D player. I know that movies with the blu-ray 3D logo will play and we can watch them with the active glasses. What I want to know is whether we can watch (and if so what will the 3D quality be) a movie that comes in a set set with the following description: Includes Digital Copy; 2D/3D; Movie Cash. I'm specifically interested in such a set for Legend of the Guardians - Owls of Ga'Hoole, release date Oct. 18, 2011. I guess I'm asking what the difference between a disk that is called 2D/3D and a disk that is specifically called blu-ray 3D. If it weren't for the recent release date I would think 2D/3D probably just meant the old technology watched with the red and green glasses. If you can also watch such a disk with the active glasses we have I might consider getting it - they are very cheap. Thanks very much.
